Slezský FC Opava secured a 2-0 win over MFK Karviná in the FNL, with goals in each half. The hosts took control and never looked back after Karviná were reduced to ten men early in the second half.
Barnabáš Lacík opened the scoring just before half-time, slotting home in the 44th minute. The game turned in the 65th minute when Karviná's Jiři Fleisman received a second yellow card and was sent off. Felix Cejka then made it 2-0 in the 72nd minute to seal the points.
Felix Cejka was involved throughout – he scored the second goal and also picked up an early yellow card. Despite his booking, he proved decisive. Opava took full advantage of the extra man and kept a clean sheet, while Karviná struggled to create chances after the red card.
