Polissya Zhytomyr beat Metalist 1925 3-1 in the Premier League. Igor Krasnopir's 28th-minute goal gave them the lead, and they made the game safe with two quick goals after the hour.
Krasnopir opened the scoring with help from Vladyslav Veleten. Sergiy Chobotenko doubled the lead in the 61st minute, and Maksym Bragaru made it 3-0 four minutes later. Peter Itodo pulled one back for Metalist 1925 in the 82nd minute.
The decisive spell came between the 61st and 65th minutes, when Polissya turned a narrow lead into a three-goal cushion. Leandro Andrade was booked early on and then set up Chobotenko's goal.
