Mansfield Town beat Doncaster Rovers 2-1 in League One, taking the points after a contest that swung both ways. Rhys Oates put them ahead midway through the first half, Jack Senior pulled Doncaster level early in the second, and Louis Reed struck the winner with 16 minutes left.
Oates finished from Lucas Akins' pass on 26 to make it 1-0. Doncaster responded four minutes after the restart when Senior converted Robbie Gotts' assist. Reed settled it on 74, scoring from Regan Hendry's delivery.
Mansfield's 18 total shots doubled Doncaster's nine, and they had 54% possession, but the expected-goals numbers were almost identical at 1.12 to 1.11. Doncaster created two big chances to Mansfield's none, yet it was the hosts who took all three points.
