Managua FC and Diriangén FC shared a 3-3 draw in Primera Division after a game that swung one way and then the other. Managua struck first, Diriangén moved in front with two quick goals, and the home side had to battle back twice before settling for a point.
José Andrés Martínez put Managua FC ahead in the ninth minute. Diriangén FC responded through Bruno Barja on 14 and Melvin Hernández two minutes later to lead 2-1, before Daniel Diaz levelled for Managua on 29. Cristian Ramírez appeared to have won it for Managua in the 72nd minute, but Diriangén grabbed a 79th-minute equaliser to make it 3-3.
Managua controlled the ball with 59 per cent possession and had more attempts overall, five to Diriangén’s four, but the visitors matched them with three shots on target apiece. That balance carried through to the scoreline, with the point shared after a series of lead changes.
