L.R. Vicenza twice came from behind to beat Catanzaro 3-2 in Serie B, ending the game with Claudio Morra's 89th-minute winner. Catanzaro led through Marco D'Alessandro and Bruno Verrengia, but Vicenza's persistence paid off late.
Catanzaro struck first on 17 minutes when D'Alessandro converted after Gabriele Alesi's assist, only for Giuseppe Cuomo to level for Vicenza on 39. Verrengia restored the visitors' lead on 51, but Alessandro Pietrelli equalised again on 80 and Morra completed the turnaround from Nicola Rauti's pass.
Vicenza's attacking output was heavy: they took 23 shots to Catanzaro's 13, created five big chances and forced six saves from the visiting goalkeeper. Catanzaro had more possession (53 per cent) and completed more passes, but it was Vicenza who kept pushing and claimed the points.
