Lokomotiv Moscow and Akhmat Grozny shared the points in a 1-1 draw that saw the home side take an early lead before a late equaliser. Akhmat dominated much of the play but had to wait until the 83rd minute to level.
Zelimkhan Bakaev put Lokomotiv ahead in the eighth minute, giving the home team a strong start. Akhmat pushed for an equaliser throughout the second half and finally got it through Erald Maksuti with seven minutes left to play.
Akhmat Grozny had 53% possession and 22 total shots (8 on target) compared to Lokomotiv's 16 shots (2 on target). Lokomotiv goalkeeper made seven saves to keep his side in the game, but they could not hold out for the win.
