Skelleftea AIK U20 took a 3-2 decision at Leksands IF U20, and the middle period was the whole story. A scoreless opening 20 gave way to a two-goal second for the visitors, and that cushion held up in regulation.
Neither side scored in the first. Skelleftea struck twice inside three minutes, at 32 and 34, to lead 0-2 after 40. Leksands got life in the third with goals at 45 and 49, but Skelleftea answered at 51 for the 3-2 final.
The decisive number is the third-period split: 2-1 Leksands on the period, not enough to erase the two-goal deficit built in the second. Three of the five goals in this game came in a seven-minute stretch of the third.
