Lee C. came from a set down to beat Falei A. 2-6, 6-3, 6-1 in Warsaw. The turnaround was built on the return: Lee converted five break points and saved three of six, while Falei’s serving unravelled with eight double faults.
Falei dominated the opener, breaking in game 4 for 3-1 and again in game 6 for 5-1; Lee’s break at 2-5 only delayed the set. Lee levelled by breaking at 3-2 in the second and again in game 9 to take it 6-3. In the decider he broke at 2-0 and 4-0, reeling off five straight games to close out 6-1.
Lee finished with 72 points to 60, winning 73% of first-serve points and 62% of second-serve return points. Falei, by contrast, saved only 2 of 7 break points and lost serve five times.
