Lech Poznań edged Widzew Łódź 3-2 in Ekstraklasa, with Luis Palma scoring the winner in the 90th minute. The visitors led twice, only for Widzew to level on each occasion before Palma struck late.
Antoni Kozubal put Lech ahead in the 6th minute and Allahyar Sayyadmanesh doubled the lead in the 22nd, both assists from Patrik Wålemark. Karol Świderski pulled one back for Widzew in the 27th minute, and Mariusz Fornalczyk made it 2-2 in the 53rd minute after an assist from Steve Kapuadi. Palma's 90th-minute goal, with no assist, sealed it.
Lech's control was reflected in the stats: 62% possession, nine shots on target to Widzew's seven, and an expected-goals figure of 1.89 against 0.80. Widzew matched them on total shots with 14 apiece but created only one big chance to Lech's three. The home side's late resistance was not rewarded.
