FK Crvena zvezda swept past Larne FC with a convincing 5-0 win at home, putting the tie to bed before half-time. The Serbian side were rampant from the first whistle, never giving the visitors a foothold in the match.
Aleksandar Katai opened the scoring after just three minutes, turning home a pass from Miloš Veljković to settle early nerves. Marko Arnautović doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time, again assisted by Veljković, before Loizos Loizou made it three early in the second half. Arnautović grabbed his second of the night just after the hour mark, and Osman Bukari completed the scoring eleven minutes from time after a neat lay-off by Katai.
Marko Arnautović was the standout performer with a brace, his two goals effectively ending the contest inside an hour. Crvena zvezda’s relentless attacking display ensured they never had to shift out of top gear, with Larne unable to offer any reply.
