Sibir Novosibirsk rallied back from a late tying goal and won 3-2 in overtime on home ice. The game remained even at 1-1 after the first period and stayed deadlocked through the second, setting up a dramatic third period and extra time.
Lada struck first at 2:02 on a goal by Dmitri Kugryshev, but Nekolenko Arkhip answered four minutes later with the primary assist going to Yegor Alanov. After a scoreless second, Vyacheslav Leshchenko broke the tie at 58:07 — again with Alanov setting it up — only for Riley Sawchuk to equalize at 60:00, sending it to overtime. Sibir’s unassisted winner at 61:35 sealed the comeback.
Yegor Alanov provided two primary assists in regulation, setting up both Sibir goals. The extra-time finish marked Sibir’s first overtime victory of the season, while Lada earned a point despite the loss.
