The visitors opened the scoring inside eight minutes when Nicolas Perez finished from Omar Natami's pass. Valentin Steinmetz doubled the lead just before half-time, converting Babou Seye's assist to make it 0-2. La Fiorita saw Giacomo Nigretti booked midway through the first half, but couldn't find a way back into the match.
