KuPS secured a comfortable away victory over SJK with two first-half goals that decided the match inside 31 minutes. The visitors took control early and never let the hosts back into the game.
Jaime Moreno opened the scoring in the 24th minute, converting Akseli Puukko's assist to make it 0-1. Just seven minutes later, Joslyn Luyeye-Lutumaba doubled the lead, finishing from Tommi Jyry's pass. The 0-2 scoreline held through the second half despite four yellow cards — one each for Niilo Kujasalo, Eetu Mömmö, Gustav Engvall, and Petteri Pennanen.
KuPS's clinical finishing in the opening half hour proved decisive; SJK were unable to create enough to mount a comeback. The win keeps KuPS in strong form, while SJK will look to recover in their next outing.
