Tanguy Zoukrou put Konyaspor ahead in the 39th minute, and the score stayed 1-0 until Massadio Haïdara equalised for Kocaelispor in the 72nd, with Gonçalo Sousa providing the assist. Metehan Altunbaş completed the turnaround in the 86th minute, Show setting up the winner.
Kocaelispor dominated the shot count 15-10 and had 56% of the ball, though expected goals were close at 0.77 for Konyaspor and 0.67 for Kocaelispor. Konyaspor's goalkeeper made six saves, but four corner kicks to one underlined the visitors' pressure in the final third.
