JäPS made it two wins from two in Ykkönen with a comfortable 2-0 victory over HJK Klubi 04. An early goal set the tone and a late second sealed the points for the home side.
Herkko Kuosa put JäPS ahead in the 6th minute, a well-taken finish that gave the hosts an early lead. The game remained tight until Charles Katashira doubled the advantage in the 84th minute, easing any late nerves.
HJK Klubi 04 rarely threatened and were frustrated by a disciplined JäPS defence. Three bookings – Veka Ketonen (43'), Emil Leveälahti (56'), and Qurib Adetola (90') – summed up their afternoon.
