Lugazi Municipal FC snatched a 2-1 Premier League win over Kigezi Homeboyz FC with a 90th-minute goal from Livingstone Mulondo. They had led earlier through Rwothomio Cromwell, but had to find a late answer after being pegged back.
Rwothomio Cromwell put Lugazi ahead in the 67th minute. Kigezi Homeboyz levelled in the 79th minute, and the match seemed to be heading for a draw until Livingstone Mulondo struck at the very end to settle it.
Lugazi controlled possession with 60% and had more shots on target, 6-4, but still needed a winner deep into the game. Mulondo's late goal was the decisive moment in a closer contest than the scoreline suggests.
