Tokyo Verdy and Kawasaki Frontale shared the points in a 1-1 J.League draw, with Lazar Romanić's stoppage-time equaliser cancelling out Shuhei Mizoguchi's second-half opener. Kawasaki dominated possession throughout but could not turn that control into a first-half lead.
Mizoguchi put Verdy ahead just after the restart, converting from Itsuki Someno's assist in the 46th minute. Kawasaki pushed for an equaliser and finally found it deep into added time, Romanić scoring with a minute to go. The only booking of the afternoon came in the 68th minute, when Tatsuya Ito was shown a yellow card.
