Kashiwa Reysol came from behind to beat Tokyo Verdy 3-1 in the J.League. Keita Endo's first-half equaliser settled them, and two goals after the break turned the match decisively in their favour.
Verdy were ahead after two minutes through Naoki Hayashi, but Reysol replied in the 11th as Keita Endo levelled. Yusuke Segawa put the visitors in front on 65 minutes, and Tojiro Kubo made sure with a third in the 82nd. The second goal, just past the hour, was the moment Verdy's resistance broke.
Reysol finished with 63% possession and 17 shots to Verdy's 12. They also forced six shots on target to three and created two big chances to Verdy's none, an accurate reflection of their control after the early scare.
