Route Eleven came from behind three times to win a nine-goal thriller 5-4 against Kansai University in the Japan Regional League. They trailed 2-0 after 25 minutes, were level by half-time, and then had to chase the game twice more before snatching it in the 90th minute.
Kansai University opened the scoring in the 11th minute and doubled their lead in the 25th. Route Eleven pulled one back in the 28th and equalised in the 40th. Kansai went ahead again in the 65th, only for Route Eleven to level four minutes later, and when Kansai struck again in the 73rd, Route Eleven responded through an 83rd-minute equaliser before scoring the winner in the 90th.
The corner count was one to Kansai University, with Route Eleven not earning a single corner. Despite that, Route Eleven scored five goals and never led until the winning goal. Their persistence across three separate deficits proved decisive in a match that ended with nine goals and no bookings.
