Kwara United recovered from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with Kano Pillars. Kano had looked in control after racing into a 0-2 lead, only for the home side to hit back in the second half.
Abdulraheem Shola gave Kano Pillars the lead in the 11th minute, and Rabiu Ali doubled it in the 29th. Jerry Alex pulled one back for Kwara United in the 47th, and a 90th-minute equaliser completed the fightback.
The late goal was the defining moment, denying Kano Pillars what had seemed a comfortable victory. Kwara United's second-half urgency brought its reward, and the spoils were shared.
