Jong AZ Alkmaar beat FC Dordrecht 6-3 in a nine-goal Eerste Divisie match. The visitors led twice and always had an answer when the hosts pulled level, before Dordrecht were reduced to ten men late on.
Bendegúz Kovács opened the scoring in the eighth minute and Andrea Natali made it 2-0 from Julian Oerip's assist. Nicolás Rossi pulled one back for Dordrecht, but Kovács struck again before the break and Ayoub Ouarghi made it 3-2 at half-time. Yoël van den Ban extended the lead, Lorenzo Riccio cut it to 4-3, Jerolldino Armantrading replied immediately, Ouarghi was sent off, and Rio Robbemond added a sixth in stoppage time.
Dordrecht had 53% possession, yet Jong AZ were the more dangerous side, with 22 shots, 14 on target and an expected-goals count of 2.11 against 0.70. Kovács's double set the tone, while Oerip's three assists were central to the win.
