Machida Zelvia earned a convincing 4-0 win at JEF United Chiba in the J.League, scoring four unanswered goals. The visitors were clinical in front of goal, while JEF had more of the ball but could not turn that into clear chances.
Yuta Nakayama opened the scoring in the 17th minute and Tete Yengi doubled the lead in the 34th, with Mitchell Duke providing the assist. Takuma Nishimura made it 3-0 in the 70th minute and Hotaka Nakamura completed the scoring in the 82nd, assisted by Yuki Soma.
Machida were the more attacking side, with 17 shots to nine and eight corners to two, though JEF edged possession at 52%. The visitors had five shots on target and scored four goals. Takumi Tsukui, Daniel Hall and Erison were booked.
