Rangers and Jagiellonia Białystok played out a 1-1 draw in the third qualifying round of the Europa League. Lawrence Shankland gave the home side the lead after 19 minutes, but Nik Prelec's equaliser in the 65th minute left the tie well balanced.
Shankland's goal was the only strike of a tight first half, with Rangers ahead at the break. Jagiellonia found their rhythm after the interval and levelled when Anders Klynge set up Prelec to score. Neither side could find a winner in the closing stages.
Possession was split exactly at 50 per cent each, but the shooting statistics showed a slight edge for the visitors. Rangers had three shots on target and seven off, while Jagiellonia put four of their seven attempts on target. Rangers won six corners to Jagiellonia's two, and the away side committed the greater number of fouls.
