Jagiellonia Białystok snatched a 1-0 win over MKS Korona Kielce courtesy of Nik Prelec's 89th-minute strike. The late goal settled a tight Ekstraklasa contest at the Stadion Miejski.
The only goal came when Sergio Lozano fed Prelec, who finished to break the deadlock. Korona had pushed for an opener, managing 16 total shots to Jagiellonia's 11, but couldn't find a way through. Patrik Hellebrand was booked for the visitors in the 64th minute.
Despite less possession (38%), Korona could muster only one shot on target, while Jagiellonia had four. The hosts had the only big chance of the game and took it, leaving their opponents to rue a missed big chance of their own.
