Operi finished from Abbosbek Fayzullaev's pass to give Başakşehir an early lead, and the home side stayed on top for much of the game. Eldor made sure of the points late on when he converted after Andreas Skov Olsen set him up. Kocaelispor rarely threatened enough to force a way back.
