Kasımpaşa pushed forward after the break and finally broke through in the 81st minute, Fousseni Diabaté scoring from Adrian Benedyczak's pass. That cancelled out Başakşehir's earlier advantage and settled the contest.
The scoreline flattered Başakşehir in terms of possession — they had 64% and completed 562 passes to Kasımpaşa's 275. Yet Kasımpaşa created more in attack, with 1.59 expected goals to 0.76 and two big chances to one. The visitors were more clinical with their opportunities, while Başakşehir's lone big chance went begging.
