Irtysh Pavlodar took the three points with a 2-1 win over Ulytau FC – a goal just before half-time proved decisive. Marko Jevtić put the visitors ahead early, but Ulytau replied before the break.
Jevtić struck in the 17th minute to give Irtysh the lead. David Martin Anane levelled for the home side on 37 minutes, but Jean Morel Poé restored the visitors' advantage right on the stroke of half-time, making it 1-2 at the interval.
All three goals came in a lively first half. The second period saw three yellow cards – Ruslan Yudenkov, Oluwabori Falaye and David Martin Anane all booked – but neither side could add to the scoreline, leaving Irtysh Pavlodar to celebrate the win.
