Nashville SC beat Inter Miami 4-1 in MLS, a result settled by a devastating spell after half-time. The home side turned a 1-1 scoreline into a 4-1 lead with three goals in 14 minutes.
Andy Najar opened the scoring on 17 minutes, but Telasco Segovia equalised for Inter Miami in first-half stoppage time. Hany Mukhtar struck four minutes after the restart, Sam Surridge made it 3-1 in the 56th minute, and Mukhtar capped the night with his second goal in the 63rd.
Mukhtar's double was the standout contribution on a night when Nashville's finishing made the difference. They converted all three of their big chances, while Inter Miami scored only one of four and missed three, despite shading possession with 55%.
