Inter Club d'Escaldes and Lincoln Red Imps fought out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier. A late equaliser from Adrian Gomes earned the Andorran side a share of the spoils after Lincoln had taken the lead through Álex Mula midway through the second half.
Lincoln broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute when Álex Mula finished from Yussef Flalhi Idrissi's assist to make it 0-1. Inter pushed for a leveller and got it 18 minutes later through Adrian Gomes, whose unassisted strike brought the scores level at 1-1. The match also saw three yellow cards: Álex Sánchez was booked in the 31st minute, followed by Toni in the 67th and Jilmar Torres in the 69th.
With no clear domination on the stats sheet, the draw leaves both sides in contention for the second leg. Adrian Gomes' equaliser was the standout moment, giving Inter a valuable away goal to take to Gibraltar.
