MŠK Považská Bystrica secured a commanding 3-1 victory over Inter Bratislava in the 2. Liga, thanks to a blistering three-goal blitz before half-time. The home side raced into a 3-0 lead by the 41st minute, effectively sealing the match early.
Michal Mynar opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, and Rudolf Bozik doubled the lead six minutes later. Samuel Javorcek made it 3-0 just before the break, assisted by Samuel Mašlej. Inter Bratislava pulled one back through Denis Franke in the 77th minute, but it was too little, too late.
Possession was evenly split at 50% each, but MŠK Považská Bystrica were more clinical, scoring three from five shots on target. They also won nine corners to Inter's six. The visitors committed 14 fouls, one more than the hosts, and saw Adrian Celko and others booked, but could not overcome the early deficit.
