Rionegro Águilas Doradas edged out Independiente Santa Fe 2-1 thanks to a late winner from Frank Lozano. The home side controlled much of the game, holding more possession and creating more chances, but needed a goal in the 85th minute to secure the three points.
Andrés Ricaurte opened the scoring for Rionegro on 54 minutes, turning in a Jhon Meléndez assist. Santa Fe hit back quickly through Nahuel Bustos six minutes later to make it 1-1. The decisive moment came when Frank Lozano finished a pass from Ricaurte to restore the lead with five minutes left.
Rionegro dominated the statistics, with 56% possession and 17 total shots to Santa Fe's 10. They put nine efforts on target, while goalkeeper saves were split seven for Santa Fe and four for Rionegro. Both of Rionegro's big chances were scored, while Santa Fe converted their only one.
