Juan Anangono put Leones Del Norte ahead inside the first minute, and Cristhian Solano made it 2-1 in the 64th after Djorkaeff Reasco had equalised for the visitors in the 51st. Carlos Gonzalez then levelled in the 90th minute, with Emerson Pata providing the assist, before scoring again in the same minute to complete the turnaround.
The visitors dominated the shot count 24-10 and had 62% possession, while Club Leones Del Norte's goalkeeper made eight saves. The decisive detail, though, was Gonzalez's late double, which turned a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 win.
