Imatran Ketterä took it 3-2 in overtime at KeuPa HT, the winner coming at 65 minutes after the visitors twice gave up a lead in a frantic third period. A scoreless opening 20 minutes gave no hint of what followed.
Ketterä broke through at 38 to lead 0-1 after two. KeuPa tied it at 46, Ketterä answered at 51 for 1-2, and the hosts got level again at 54 to force the extra period at 2-2 — that late equalizer was the turning point that bought KeuPa a point, and no more.
The number that matters: all five goals came after the 38th minute, four of them inside a nine-minute stretch of the third. Ketterä scored three times and led at every stage they held a lead, closing it out in overtime.
