Everton de Viña del Mar claimed a convincing 4-1 win at Huachipato in Primera Division. They raced into a three-goal lead inside 40 minutes and never looked back, with the hosts' reply before half-time only a brief interruption.
Julián Alfaro put the visitors ahead in the 21st minute, turning in Benjamín Berríos' assist. Alan Medina doubled the lead with a 34th-minute finish from Lucas Soto's pass and added his second of the match in the 40th minute. Lionel Altamirano pulled one back for Huachipato in the 45th minute, but Nicolas Montiel's 51st-minute goal, set up by Diego Oyarzún, restored the comfortable margin.
Everton dominated the shot count, 24 attempts to six, with 13 on target to one, and held 55% possession. Huachipato recorded nine saves, while Alan Medina's double was the standout individual performance.
