TSG Hoffenheim II beat SSV Jahn Regensburg 5-1 in the 3. Liga, taking control with two goals inside the first 26 minutes. Regensburg pulled one back on the hour, but Hoffenheim's response was immediate.
Yasin Zor put Hoffenheim ahead on 18 and then set up Tiago Poller to make it 2-0 on 26. Lucas Hermes reduced the deficit for Regensburg on 60, only for Zor to score again two minutes later. Klaus Gjasula added a fourth on 69 and Blessing Makanda wrapped up the win on 83.
Zor was the standout player, scoring twice and setting up another goal. His second strike killed off Regensburg's hopes of a comeback and set the stage for the goals from Gjasula and Makanda.
