F.C. Hansa Rostock beat TSG Hoffenheim II 2-3 in a five-goal 3. Liga contest. Andreas Voglsammer's first-half brace and Bernie Lennemann's early second-half strike proved the difference.
Voglsammer put Rostock ahead in the 13th minute, but Yasin Zor levelled for the hosts nine minutes later. Voglsammer responded with his second in the 33rd, and although Jakov Dedic made it 2-2 just before half-time, Lennemann scored the winner in the 51st minute from Maximilian Krauss's assist.
Rostock went ahead three times, and although Hoffenheim twice found an answer, they never managed to take the lead. Voglsammer was the game's decisive figure, scoring twice before the interval, while Lennemann's strike settled it soon after the restart.
