Saryarka Karagandy won 4-2 over HK Yertis Pavlodar in regulation at the Kazakhstan Cup, building a comfortable lead through the first two periods. The home side controlled the game from the outset, never trailing and sealing the result with a strong middle frame.
Saryarka opened with a 1-0 lead after the first period and doubled that edge with two more goals in the second to make it 3-0. Yertis pushed back in the third with two goals, but Saryarka answered with one of their own to close out the 4-2 final.
The decisive stretch was the second period, where Saryarka's two-goal burst put the game out of reach. Their three-period effort in front of the home crowd was enough to secure the win in regulation.
