TPS Turku seized control with three first-period goals and never looked back, winning 5-1 over HIFK Helsinki in regulation. The home side's early offensive burst set the tone, and HIFK never pulled closer than two goals afterward.
Lukas Wernblom opened the scoring at 7:00, Lars Bryggman doubled the lead at 14:00, and Niklas Friman made it 3-0 at the first-period buzzer. Vincent Marleau answered for HIFK at 26:00, but Koivu Aatos restored TPS's three-goal cushion at 32:00. Bryggman added his second of the night at 54:00 to close out the scoring.
Lars Bryggman was the standout, finishing with two goals and an assist and factoring into three of TPS's five scores. The balanced attack fired three goals in the opening frame and carried the team to a regulation win.
