FC Helsingør came from behind to beat Vallensbaek IF 4-1 in the DBU Pokalen first round. They trailed at half-time to Gustav Moe Jacobsen's goal but replied with four unanswered goals after the break.
Jacobsen gave Vallensbaek the lead in first-half stoppage time, and that advantage held until Nichlas Monefeldt Vesterbæk levelled for Helsingør in the 67th minute. Jacob Söndergaard then put the visitors in front in the 74th minute, added a third in the 81st, and Elias Rørsted Christensen completed the scoring in the 90th.
Jacob Söndergaard's double was the decisive contribution, turning a 1-0 deficit into a comfortable cushion inside seven minutes. Helsingør's four-goal response after the interval settled the tie on a night when Vallensbaek could only hold the lead until the 67th minute.
