Taifun scored three times inside the first 19 minutes, at 5:00, 18:00, and 19:00, to grab control. Dinamo-Shinnik answered at 19:00, then added goals at 23:00 and 31:00 in the middle frame to flip momentum before a scoreless third.
The key swing was the second period: Dinamo-Shinnik outscored Taifun 2-0 while keeping the visitors off the board after the opening frame. That adjustment after the first intermission carried the home side to the win.
