HC Slovan Bratislava beat HC Sparta Praha 2-1 in overtime in a Club Friendly game, recovering from an early deficit and finishing the job in the extra session. The road side erased a one-goal hole in the third period before producing the decisive goal in OT.
Sparta struck first in the opening period to grab a 1-0 lead, and that score held through a scoreless second. Slovan leveled in the third, forcing overtime, and then completed the comeback with the winning goal in extra time.
All three goals came in separate periods, with the final 1-1 regulation scoreline decided by Slovan's overtime winner. The difference was the late push: after 40 minutes trailing, Slovan scored once in the third and once in OT to flip the result.
