Motherwell moved a step closer to the group stage with a comfortable 3-0 win over Havnar Bóltfelag in the Europa Conference League second qualifying round. The Scottish side scored three goals without reply, effectively sealing the tie inside the opening hour.
Lukas Fadinger put Motherwell ahead in the 25th minute, and Regan Charles-Cook doubled the lead from Dylan Williams's assist just before half-time. Williams then got on the scoresheet himself five minutes after the restart, turning in Ibrahim Said's cross.
Motherwell's attack was clinical throughout, and they rarely gave Havnar a chance to get back into the game. The clean sheet will be a boost as they look to carry this form into the second leg.
