Guerrieri recovered from losing the opening set 6-0 to beat Glinka 0-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the ATP Challenger in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. He changed the match with one break in the second set and two breaks in the decider.
Glinka raced through the first set, converting breaks at 0-1, 0-3 and 0-5 while Guerrieri won only four service points. Guerrieri steadied in the second set, saving the only break point he faced and breaking at 4-2. In the decider, Glinka converted a break at 2-4, Guerrieri answered at 3-4, and Guerrieri took the decisive break at 5-4.
The stats were heavily in Glinka's favour and still not enough: he hit 14 aces to Guerrieri's one, won 71 points to 60 and converted four breaks to two. Guerrieri saved 3 of 7 break points overall and made his breaks count at the key moments.
