FC Groningen and FC Twente shared the points in a 2-2 Eredivisie draw after a first half full of movement. Twente led through Marko Pjaca's sixth-minute goal, but Groningen turned the game around and the sides went in level.
Thom van Bergen equalised in the 18th minute, and Tygo Land put Groningen ahead on 29. Wout Weghorst made it 2-2 in the 40th minute, and there were no more goals. Ramiz Zerrouki was booked in the 8th minute and Mark Csinger in the 55th.
Twente controlled more of the ball, had 55% possession, created seven big chances to Groningen's three and finished with the higher expected-goals total, 2.32 to 1.44. Groningen, though, had more attempts overall with 21 total shots to 16 and eight corners to two.
