Annecy FC took the Ligue 2 points with a 2-1 win at Grenoble Foot 38, decided by Paul Venot's goal in the 90th minute. The late strike settled a match in which the visitors generally carried more threat.
Thibault Rambaud had put Annecy ahead on 66 minutes. Samba Diba levelled for Grenoble in the 74th with Ugo Bonnet providing the assist, but Venot struck in the 90th after Julien Kouadio's setup to seal it. Antoine Larose, Gabin Secrétant and Thibault Rambaud all received yellow cards.
Annecy finished with bigger numbers across the board: 55% possession, 13 total shots and three big chances, against Grenoble's nine and one. Venot's late winner completed a victory earned through the visitors' greater volume of chances, while Grenoble's equaliser kept the contest alive deep into the match.
