Queen's Park beat Greenock Morton 2-1 in the Championship. Michael Ruth scored twice, including the winner early in the second half after Greenock Morton had cancelled out the opener.
Ruth opened the scoring from Nikolay Todorov's 22nd-minute assist. Greenock Morton responded seven minutes later through Laiith Fairnie, with Callum Sandilands providing the assist. Ruth restored Queen's Park's lead with his second goal in the 47th minute, and that proved the final score.
Ruth was the standout player, his brace the difference between the sides, while the three yellow cards went to Scott Martin, Ross Mclean and Zach Mauchin. With no further scoring after the 47th minute, Queen's Park took the points.
