Górnik Zabrze and Fenerbahçe shared a 1-1 draw in the UEFA Champions League qualification second round. The hosts fought back after falling behind early, with the Turkish side creating more big chances but failing to make them count.
Anderson Talisca put Fenerbahçe ahead in the 12th minute, slotting home from close range. Górnik Zabrze levelled just before half‑time when Michal Sáček finished an Erik Prekop assist in the 45th minute. The second half saw plenty of yellow cards but no further goals.
Fenerbahçe had four big chances to Górnik Zabrze's one, yet each side scored from their single big chance converted. The away side dominated possession (52%) and accurate passes (373 to 297), but Górnik Zabrze registered six shots on target to Fenerbahçe's two and forced five saves from the visiting goalkeeper.
