Motor Lublin snatched a 1-0 win over GKS Katowice in Ekstraklasa with a late Karol Czubak goal. The game was decided in the 86th minute when Mbaye Ndiaye set up Czubak to settle a tight, goalless first half.
GKS Katowice had more of the ball, finishing with 59% possession and 398 accurate passes to Motor's 249, but Motor created the clearer chances. They had 15 shots, five on target and an expected-goals tally of 2.92 against GKS's 1.10, yet needed Czubak's winner to make the breakthrough.
Czubak was the match-winner, scoring the only goal from one of Motor's four big chances. GKS managed just two shots on target and missed all three of their big chances, while the game also featured five yellow cards, including two in the 90th minute.
