The first set was a battle of returns: Shah broke for 3-1 in game 4, but Giron broke straight back at 2-3. The decisive break came at 6-5 in game 11, giving Giron the set. In the second set, Giron broke early at 2-1 and held serve the rest of the way, closing it out 6-4.
