Walsall took all three points from Priestfield with a 3-0 win over Gillingham in League Two, settling the contest with three goals in the final ten minutes. The match had been goalless until Isaac Moore broke the deadlock in the 81st minute, and late strikes from James Connolly and Aaron Pressley gave the scoreline a comfortable look.
Moore put Walsall ahead with nine minutes remaining, and Gillingham pushed forward in search of an equaliser. That left space at the back, and Connolly doubled the lead in the 89th minute before Pressley added a third in added time, turning in Courtney Clarke's assist.
Walsall edged possession at 56% and created five big chances to Gillingham's two, scoring from all three of their big chances converted. Gillingham had seven shots on target, but Walsall's goalkeeper made seven saves to keep a clean sheet, while the home side missed two big chances of their own.
